Wazzup? Well, I decided NOT to go to sleep last night. The online ride booking system starts up each day at 5 a.m. and I thought it would be far more painful (and risky) to trust the alarm would wake up me then. So I washed a few dishes and puttered around. But ... success. Or partially so. I booked my ride TO the hospital for next Thursday and was wait-listed for the return home. When I checked a wee bit later, I also had my ride home. I'm sad to be missing my vision loss group meeting (AGAIN) but, given the stupidity of the weather, could not risk trying to get to the hospital on my own traversing half the city using public transit. Not when I wouldn't even be able to guarantee that I could walk a few feet on an unknown sidewalk. So I built in fun ME time into my schedule. As I should be arriving at the hospital with a couple hours to spare, I can walk over to the Bay to see if they finally have Euphoria shower gel in stock. And I have to check beforehand to see if they have a wig department, as I'd really like to have ONE hairpiece to liven up my personal look.
After I was done, I had a bit of pudding and then went back to bed. I managed 4.5 hours of sleep, waking up just in time to unlock the door so that my meal could be delivered. It's another grotesquely cold day (getting SO fed up to be repeating that). I didn't quite catch the news but there was a 100-car pileup somewhere in the province. Yikes!
I needed a second nap in the early evening and am afraid that staying up and disrupting my routine is giving me a rumbly tumbly AGAIN. So NOT what I needed. At least I enjoyed tonight's Jeopardy. I'm rooting for the current champion. Anyway, I have to go do mundane stuff now (like getting my garbage and recycling ready for tomorrow morning). And then have some more flavoured water. And then - ahhhhhh - bed. Yay for that.
