I'm awake and surprised!

I don't know how I'm still standing, well, er ... sitting, because only two hours ago I was ready to have a nap! But I valiantly ignored the demands my body was making on me. I'm in charge here! ::small voice:: I think.

Still, I was tired. From the getting up early for church, from the sermon that was about death, from waiting for a long time for my ride home, from having a tiny lunch - instead of a nap, as M suggested - to packing up leftovers and heading over to M's at 5. I also brought along a bottle of Pinot Gris. Anyway, I told M about all of the silliness from last night, including the fact that Brian had been having a very good time poking fun at me. Well, he's been doing it for, I believe, 15 years! God help him.

During dinner I played the Paul Potts CD and we talked about what personal demons we were going to be facing this week. We also talked about vacations and I came up with some alternatives to the ::whispers:: houseboat. I guess I'll start investigating for next year. Anyway, I did the dishes and left for home before 9, as M doesn't like me walking home in major dark.

So, a busy day. We'll be having a busy day tomorrow as well, so I suppose I should sign off and get some sleep.
