Yaaay, I'm batting 1000 with you.

I believe that Buffy and Giles have an odd sort of friendship now. It's been through many rough times but survived.

As for the feeling I have emanating from Buffy, I also believe that the uncertainties in Buffy's life in L.A. and then Sunnydale contributed greatly to her low self-esteem (yeah, I know, the Slayer with lse). But, really, having your parents divorce and your dad virtually ignore you, burn your old high school gym down, know that your last Watcher died because of you, have a mother who didn't know anything (and, even when she did, was judgmental and without compassion), makes Buffy an ideal candidate for wanting people to be exactly who they were supposed to be.

Buffy also liked the idea that everything was black and white. Giles = white, then Ethan = black. Simple Buffy!logic.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and ::giggles:: approving. As we had a power blackout last night, I'm trying to catch up so I can read your story later.

Hugs,
Helenka
