Oh, don't get me started on costumes, etc.

One of my exes was quite dismissive of the pictures I showed him from one Trek con. He said they made "passable" hall costumes (what you'd wear during the day, but certainly not if you were entering a competition).

But I still have very fond memories of some of the costumes I and my friends wore.
