Actually, there appears to be an answer. You take the times from the nearest Jewish community. If in the Antarctic, you'd most likely use somewhere in South America. In space, you'd use whatever Mission Control was your point of blast-off. As for facing Jerusalem, that, too, is easy. Just face the earth.
