Two people thought I was the "voice of reason" today.

So, pretend I'm not drinking sake in the icon. I'm ... deliberating. And just where was I this paragon of clarity? Why, where else but Savage Love. People had been ... uh ... arguing since last Wednesday on one of the hot-button issues and I'd been reading until I could add something of value (my comment was #288). So ... yay me apparently.

For once I didn't have an emergency meltdown requiring Brian's assistance; no, my need was much more ... basic. Luckily, he was able to find what I needed (I'd given him a coupon last week), and delivered it while I was sitting in the lobby (ooooh, the rugs feel so thick and soft under my slippered feetsies) without even turning his engine off. Oh, thank goodness, as the blonde breathes a huge sigh of relief.

When John came home, he gifted me with more apples. So another yay for having nature's tooth-scrubbers. Though I'd slept well last night, the day's dreariness got me down, so I had a two-hour nap. I'd also rewatched last week's Castle, mostly for THAT. HOUSE. IN. THE. HAMPTONS. ::sighs:: And then I put my SGA DVD in my real player, lay down in bed and watched this week's epi, namely Harmony. Ugh-ugh-ugh. Another mostly decadent society. Well, I know how I'll be commenting on it, come Friday. But I have a few days before I have to become super-critical. So, now, I'm going to relax and find something to read online. A long story would be really appreciated.
