With a little help from my friends....
But, first of all, blonde slept in until about 9:15. Mind you, that's made easier when it's yucky and raining outside - and my blinds are drawn. Like ... duh. I didn't get around to eating brekkie until after noon, so obviously not hungry; well, not for food anyway. But I reveled in yet more TV show watching and then deleting from my HD. Yup, I'm being SO conscientious. This time, I rewatched the two episodes of S8 JAG (which I'd never seen until I'd hunted up these episodes that introduced us to a spinoff show featuring one Leroy Jethro Gibbs and team, including a charmingly eccentric Ducky). I'd also saved the first two epis of N.C.I.S. and it's fun to see how some of the actors had changed physically over ten years (isn't that like 30 in the cruel acting world?) and was relieved to see that they'd managed quite well. Once again, I was delighted by my speakers' performance, especially hearing the trademark show theme. And, then, poof. Four epis deleted, freeing up more space to manouvre.
And, speaking of friends, MC (the co-leader of the vision loss support group) surprised me with another phone call. This time I actually did mention the unpleasant thing from the meeting. Even though we're currently powerless to do anything about it, and don't even know how to address the issue, I'm glad I mentioned it. She OTOH wanted to double-check my e-mail addy, as she had info on Glaucoma to send me. That was very sweet of her. ::hugs her in absentia::
I managed to combine a nap with bodily self-care and pain reduction. ::groans:: Nope, my body has not been a happy camper for the last few days. I just hope I don't get jostled too much traveling to and from church tomorrow. ::crosses fingers and asks the piggies for assistance::
