The best laid plans.... Sigh.
So, the best thing that I accomplished today was to sleep in until 9:13. It was all downhill after that. No furniture moving. No deccies. Definitely not even bringing out the cheerful Christmas bed linens because, in order to get them out, I'd have to play furniture surface Tetris. Ha! Keep dreaming, blondie!
Instead, because of the insistent pain, I managed to rotate between bed and chair, and also napped in the afternoon. Remembered to watch Sunday's epi of The Rookie and I really feel like sending a nasty email to the network for covering up dialogue with really loud music. I think everyone in Hollywood has damaged haring. Some shows are really horrible that way.
I'm stymied because I've received no reply from the Music Director. Sigh again. I emailed church-John about completing his Costco order for me and I was cheeky enough to add 7 tins of luxury biscuits which I'm handing out as gifties during the holidays - because gift shopping is a huge chore for me, especially this year of decrepitude. Sigh again. And, just because I'm feeling sorry for myself: Sigh again.
OTOH, my colour perception tonight is excellent, squash yellow against dark chocolate. But I'm just not in the mood to read. The only wonderful thing I received was a report from the Prez of the blind group with a report of the variety fundraiser held last weekend. It was apparently a blast. So, now I'll be editing the report and getting it on the group's FB page. Just add that to my other intentions … for tomorrow. ::crosses fingers::
