Curses. Foiled again.

What's that all about? Well, I thought I'd play the balance of the Queer Eye epi during which Liblikas (or, rather, Linux) froze last week. I managed to watch the missing ten minutes, then decided to watch the other episode, a charming family Christmas. Uh ... not a good decision, as the computer froze again. No mouse activity, no key recognition. Nada. So ... you know what happens next: the kill and hard reboot. Ouch. I'll have to have a talk with Brian about why - so far - the only time the 'puter has frozen is when I've played one of the files that had been recorded from the TV and then converted by Brian into a video file. ::sighs::

Otherwise, I took it easy today. I'm surprised I slept well, as if there were nothing wrong with my breathing or lungs. Yes, bodies are mysterious. I did call my GP's office and the soonest I can see her on the day of my choice is two weeks from tomorrow. That's fine by me.

I had an unsatisfactory two-hour nap (I think I was too cold) so I'll stay up for a while. No Castle because of the Prez debate. I'm just reading through the LiveSLOG of it now. Anyway, that's a wrap from me and my somewhat confused computer. OTOH, she hasn't budged from the correct time zone ALL day. ::pets Liblikas::

I think the consensus is that Obama won this one. Is that right?

Well, a rational person would come to that conclusion. OTOH, Ann Coulter, a vituperative conservative journalist, tweeted the following:
I highly approve of Romney's decision to be gentle to the retard.
Nope, no sign of rationality there.

God, that woman's hateful. And offensive.

I'm getting really worried now that Romney might win.
