As for the Buffy POV, that was an accident. When she was pressed up against the glass, it just came to me to write it from an outsider's POV. And Buffy definitely was, not knowing any of this. It also helped that Giles was knocked out 99% of the time (I tend to do that to him a lot, lol).
And, yes, I'll take Giles/Ethan Any. Day. Of. The. Week!
