Well, me being me, I wouldn't be satisfied with merely one sample of writing. So, using as my first example a few of the closing paragraphs of my McDex, "Belonging", Rodney's POV showing his caring and unrequited love written only one month ago, this is what I get:
Curioser and curioser, the next sample is from a more mystical, sensual, lyrical and explicit work, "Redemption", starring the ghost of Nate Fisher/OMC (from
Six Feet Under) written for John on December 31, 2006.
Oksy, just one more (as everyone around me says with more than a touch of sarcasm, "Right, Helenka. Only one more?"). This is the last part of the Epilogue to my BigBang entry for 2009, "Trinity of One", mostly McShep with a healthy addition of Teyla. In my opinion, the ending is slightly wistful, emoting much love and hope.
::giggles::
Well, so far, I like the fact that I seem to demonstrate more than ONE BORING WRITING STYLE. Often, I believe that the way I write is a bit too logical (nay, even pedantic), and sentences are too rigid. I think I'll go back and (just for my own pleasure and off the record) see where all of my recent fics fall.
