Sunday isn't entirely over yet, but my body is telling me otherwise. I'm protesting. It's protesting back. We seem to have a stalemate.

Anyway, I've had a productive day. I volunteered at church (anointing & serving communion) which was its usual spectacular experience. Tho' perhaps not as cute as two weeks ago, when a mother/father/baby came up to me. Well, the baby grabbed on to my finger and she wouldn't let go. Adorable and unpredictable.

I got home quickly in the cold and damp and called John. Then I put the ribs into the oven for 3 hours. I took a bottle of Gewurtztraminer and a spiritual CD gift to John's at 2. He prepared a rosemary encrusted rack of lamb, cauliflower with an olive oil/breadcrumb/garlic crumble on top and sliced tomatoes. It was a lovely brunch.

I left at 4:15. At 5, I delivered a rack of ribs to our building managers. Most tenants give mundane Christmas gifts. I gave them the promise of home cooking one meal each month. So far they've had French Onion Soup, Wild Mushroom Soup and the Ribs were for March (okay, so I was a day late).

Anyway, here I am with a right wrist that feels as if it's broken. Nah, just the new arthritis. So I think tomorrow will be Spa Day for Moi.

Tired but productive hugs to all,
H.
