So, kiddies, guess what I did after waking up in the dark of the night? I came out to the living room and stared out at the balcony. Luckily, it was a gloomy and rainy day, so I didn't feel exposed by going out at 6 a.m. and bringing Every. Single. Bag into the living room. Well, I sorta kinda had to, because I did find (YAY) my three fleece blankies and my comforter squished into the extreme edge of John's balcony. I figured I needed to rescue them and give them a good washing to prevent them going all icky. And, in the process, I moved all the furniture, too. There is now room to sit outside. I amazed myself by accomplishing all of this in ONE hour. YAY me. But how many days will it take for me to sort through the bags and toss stuff. ::sighs::

After that, I cooked two PERFECT medium hard-boiled eggs (firm white and creamy yolk) for brekkie. And, then, I did two loads of laundry (of the aforementioned blankies and comforter). So ... can I be dead yet? Not so fast, blondie. I still had to do two loads of regular laundry which I did in the afternoon. And, of course, my fingers are killing-killing-killing me. Not to mention my right foot from limping and lurching back and forth to the laundry room (just a few feet away, but still TOO far).

I couldn't even be bothered with lunch, so just kept guzzling water. I did enjoy the leftover curried chicken salad, but ate the lovely bread without toasting it. And, then, I dragged my miserable self into the shower. Of course, that wasn't the end of the pain, because I still had to make the bed. ::whimpers:: Only then could I lie down and try to ignore the stabbing pain in my foot. When I got up, I found that it's a quiet night on ell-jay. So I went back to bed, switching the sound machine onto waterfall (LOUDLY) to cover up the incessant screaming of kids playing soccer outside. Guess what? It worked. [Note to self: dig up the second sound machine for the living room.] And I read some 20-year old Next Gen slash. Gads, I miss the club that used to meet at the 519. I wonder whatever happened to them.

I know it's still early, but I feel I should have my NeoCitran and collapse soon. I have to go out shopping tomorrow morning and would like some of my aches to dissipate throughout the night. Ever hopeful am I (well, at least tonight).
