Oh, my. It's a really good thing today was Leap Day ... made just for catching up.

So, last night I was going to go to bed early. Oh, yes, I really was. Um ... 3:00 a.m. is early, isn't it? ::sighs:: Well, I got caught up in reading a Big Bang (SGA, natch) and just couldn't stop until I reached the end.

I set the alarm for 9 and woke up a few minutes before it. But – alas – there was no food in the freezer. So I waited until my 10 a.m. delivery (and had a wonderful chat with my fave person). Then I made myself one of the new entrées, Chicken chow mein. I had to pull out my lit magnifier to read the heating instructions. It was ... tolerably okay. At least the chicken was moist. It would probably taste better if I added some soy sauce, so I'll keep that in mind.

As for my other to-do things, I called in my order for next week's meals. I gathered papers for my bureaucratic meeting next Tuesday. I got a call from my vision group's leader about our meeting next week. It's going to be a boring one (featuring a company that sells assistive devices), but I'll still attend.

As for vanity on the agenda, I have fluffy hair (yay) but was forced to cut my own toenails (very scary). I'm hoping the weather gets decent enough for me to walk to the pedicure place. And I've officially run out of black nightgowns (humongous laundry awaits); so I'm wearing red satin instead. With dorky black wool socks. Oy.

Mind you, I had a super-dorky attack when I knocked over my glass of ginger ale and 6 ice cubes ... all over my workspace. I swear, I don't dust except when I knock a drink over. What I didn't realize is that the liquid had spread all the way under the printer, so I had to remove that and wipe it up. ::sighs:: Why did my hand do something so ... dumb? Again with the oy.

I watched this week's N.C.I.S. which ... uh ... underwhelmed. Why is Tony regressing into a super-shallow man? A disbelieving oy, again.

I also made sure to clear my Google history. If you haven't done it yet, I believe you have until midnight before everything becomes ... complicated.

Anyway, I still have to check on a few things, so I'd better scurry off. I'll have stuff to do tomorrow morning. Nighty-night to the end of Leap Day.
