Last night I added a third but very sparse layer to my bed linens ... my sparkly capelet. But apparently it performed its heat-trapping so well that I fell asleep immediately (alas for only two hours) with the lights on. After that, it was a bit of a struggle, but I managed to sleep until the alarm at 8.
I was dizzy in the morning, so didn't even attempt to do any sorting. Instead I watched last night's Battle of the Blades. My newest friend showed up around 2:30 and we set out to work together. I've donated nearly all of my artwork to the church thrift shop. I kept three numbered pieces by Hundertwasser as well as some bits of nostalgia. But, alas, the Enterprise in the style of DaVinci is gone. Even Rembrandt's The Polish Rider. ::sighs::
And most of my books are going to a charity as well. Egyptian? What's that? Chaucer? Never heard of the guy. And on and on. OTOH, my friend had been pointedly pragmatic last week when he wondered whether I could even read the books (and academic books were notorious for their hideously tiny print). So ... no regrets. ::sniffles anyway:: I think we accomplished a lot in two hours. [I just wish I could clone him because he is exceptionally efficient.]
After he left, I began (and finished) my S3 rewatch of Little Britain. Oh ... those naughty kisses. Now, I'm just going to indulge in a wee bit of reading, and then it's time for bed. And praying to the angels.
