Either your day is boring or it's so stupidly hot you wish the rain could go on and on and on. Even if our power got knocked out so badly in the early evening, my CO2 detector went bonkers (beeping angrily) and the router controlling the TV and internet signal took forever to reconnect. But, still, rain.
I'd certainly had lots of chances to sleep. Woke up at 7:24 and booked my rides. Then I went to bed again at 1:30 and got in another two hours (without any alarm). Gave up on trying to reread "Origin" so I just noted the name of the Gaudi museum so I can find more stuff on it. Finally placed my grocery order, choosing some wonderful foods. I can't wait for the fresh peas-in-a-pod.
Watched my game shows. Sorry to see the 3-day champ - a NY museum curator(?) lose tonight on Jeopardy!. I missed a few seconds of her opening interview where she talked about a virtual archaeological dig at the museum (but that doesn't necessarily indicate whether it's the big and brash Met or the more nuanced and discerning Brooklyn, as I've been to both Egyptian galleries).
Okay, time for my last glass of cold water and pills. And - one hopes - more decent sleep. ::crosses fingers::
