What day is it anyway?

It's no wonder I'm so confused. When M. had gone home late afternoon of the 26th, I'd been expecting a call in the evening. I took a nap, fully expecting that the phone would wake me up. But ... um ... no phone call - so I didn't wake up until 1 a.m. And then I stayed up until 7 yesterday, when I went back to sleep. Woke up around 11. I puttered around, cleaning, making good use of my time. Then I put socks and sandals on and took out all the Christmas trash and bottles. I'll be so very happy if it doesn't snow, because that will make garbage removal so much more gruesome.

Unfortunately, M. chose midnight as the time to call me. Normally, not a problem. But I just didn't have any gas left in the tank so begged off until the morrow. I guess I was lucky to get almost 5 hours of sleep in. If I have a nap after I wash my hair and before M. picks me up, I'll be lucky. And I have yesterday's fic to write (based on the letter Y).

So, I'll just wish everyone a good day and talk to you later.
