Kermie??? I want to go shopping ... AGAIN!

Well, unfortunately, there's no Kermie to pay the bills at the end of month, but I still treated myself during my visit into the city. Picked up a huge Dior makeup/skin care order; bought myself a new croc-look purse, as the red French one is for winter only (matches my swing coat).

Picked up Charlotte's Web and bought a biography of Ingrid Bergman. Gee, I must have been prescient the other day when I left a comment in someone's LJ, saying I wanted to be her! Bought all the vitamins I'd run out of and a new bath brush and still had enough time during my 3-hour whirlwind shopping trip to have lunch at my fave Greek resto. And, for once, I didn't have the roast lamb. But, I have to admit I still did have lamb. It was braised with oregano and covered with a mushroom sauce. Of course, the half litre of retsina complemented the oregano beautifully.

And, then, it was time to return. My cab was early which was great. I came home and unpacked and crawled into bed for a titch of a nap. M called, happy, and we talked about the horsies. As I won't be going up to the stables tomorrow, M has been delegated to give my fave painted pony a couple of carrots.

And, now, if you'll excuse me, I have leftover baklava to nibble on. And, then, prepare for tomorrow and my visit to the synagogue.

Hope y'all had a productive and pleasant day, and I trust that you certainly didn't spend as much money as moi did.
