My domesticly divine day (okay, stop laughing ... NOW!)

Yes, it was dusting and re-arranging day at Villa by the Lake. I asked John if he could pop on over to put up the Degas. He did and he got a bottle of water to take on his bike ride. He may pop in tomorrow evening when M is here for a glass of wine.

So, now that the Degas was up, I could put everything back onto the sideboard. Or not. So, even though I have pretty curtains, I ended up putting a few things on the windowsill. Oh, well, they'll be adornments for the outside world.

Had a titch of a rest and spoke to M who'd spent the afternoon at the vet's doing the assistant-y thing.

And, now, if you'll excuse me, I have a few dishes to wash and - if I'm completely crazy - a couple of floors to clean. At least I'm using modern implements.
