The best laid plans go ... phhhhhhht!

So ... holiday Monday. Check.

Plans (not even ambitious). Check.

Was supposed to go over to M's to help out with one thing and then also make dinner. Um, not. My legs were not interested in co-operating. [Traitors.] So I begged off and M did also. Hee - we're in synchronicity.

So, I had a little nap, then enjoyed my last mango, nectarines and avocadoes. [Yes, they were on the edge of over-ripeness.] And, then, 5 hours of an HGTV Design Challenge Marathon. I think that's the only reality show I appreciate because the end result is usually pleasing and rewards artistic excellence. [No eating worms there!]

It didn't even feel like a holiday Monday. I don't know if it was the cool weather, but I didn't even hear too much noise from any kids outside. ::is afraid:: Maybe all the kids have disappeared? Hello??? Am I the only one left here? [I know: deep questions about life and the meaning of the universe!]

I think I'll go back to dreamland ... and, then, I'll do some creative stuff tomorrow.
