The last horsey day of the summer

I had a semi-silly day today. The painter came around 11 and redid my kitchen ceiling. He was nice and quick. I'm still going to have to wipe down all the surfaces because there's a fine residue - but at least it's not a mountain of plaster, as before. After that, I had a shower and a little nap that kept getting interrupted by beeping (was it my cellphone telling me it was overcharged?). I had some interesting dreams during the nap. Then I got up and went over to M's. It was the last lesson of the summer term so the riders got to go trotting through the forest. I, in the meantime, sat in the lobby and ... froze. So not of the good.

Anyway, I must get my hair cut at 9 tomorrow, so I'm off to bed.
