Yes, it's amazing to see how even the smallest things can excite me. But, when you consider the fact that we were picked up late and the driver had another drop-off, we were amazed to be down back by the lake around 11:20. Hey, we'll take it, gratefully.

Anyway, M rode a different horse today and the instructor gave us both a special exercise to help loosen the shoulders. Hee - I do like being useful (and I was, preparing open-faced swiss cheese, stone-baked ham, romaine lettuce on bagel sandwiches and also packing some slightly withering baby roma tomatoes). But, it was food and that's the important thing. I was also a good kid and washed all the mugs in the sink during M's lesson. Well - it was hot water!

I'm glad I had a nap around noon, because tomorrow is going to be a stressful day. We have to take Miss Widge back to the vet's. I guess I'd better bring along a big book.

I'm just happy to be back home where it's warm (I wore my winter coat for the first time, as it's cold up in them foresty 'burbs). I'm about to heat up some mushroom barley soup and watch a titch of Air Farce. And, then, le sigh, bed. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Slightly shivering hugs,
H.
