Too adorable for words, so I'll be shutting up now.

William Shakespeare

The quality of mercy is not strained,
It droppeth as the gentle helenkacan from heaven
Upon the place beneath.

No, it was a very bad paaaaaaaiiiiiin day. Bad face. No, really, really nice face. My face ... but in pain. Hey, who's writing this script, anyway? Huh, some ghostwriter.

Well, I didn't want to go out but I had to go out for food, for drugs and for tokens. So I opened my windows to let in fresh air and forced myself out the door at 2. What a shock. It was incredible out. Sunny. It felt like a March day, full of the promise of warmer weather (and not the hideousness I associate with winter). Ah, such delusions.

Anyway, I had a lovely chat with my pharmacist and got pain/sinus meds, then went across the street to the supermarket. Picked up frivolous food (one starfruit at a ridiculous price), sensuous food (8 vine tomatoes), and other good stuff to eat. Trundled home, exhausted. Oh, and did I mention that my face hurts? Don't want you to forget that.

I sliced the starfruit and had that as a snack and also one tomato sprinkled with basil and ground salt & pepper. Am still eating Chinese leftovers. There's still a huge container of spicy orange beef left.

Brian sent me an e-mail really early. We're going to investigate the condo near me tomorrow afternoon. Yay for adventures. M and I talked for about 40 minutes in the evening. And I'm too tired to watch this week's episode of Atlantis, Missing. Maybe tomorrow before Brian shows up. All I know is that the eye strain on top of the sinus pain was too much. Well, I just took two decongestants and I'm feeling marginally better. Perhaps I need to hug a pig (hey, that's M's topical analgesic recommendation).

So, I'll just say nighty-night and go curl up in bed. Pig, optional!
Hope you didn't have any pain in your day.
Hugs,
H.
