Well, I'm not sure and all I have is a cold can of Fresca in front of me.
Oh, my. Brian took me on a whirlwind shopping trip tonight. But, back to the beginning. I had trouble sleeping when I did (does 4 a.m. sound familiar?) because I kept swallowing, trying to moisten a severely dry throat. The air was hideously dry. So I finally filled the humidifier and it's been puffing out moisture as quickly as possible.
I served Brian a quickie supper of a toasted bagel with cream cheese and rustic veggie/potato soup. Also showed him my latest condo piccie renditions. And, then, we were off. At Canadian Tire I bought myself a food warmer tray. Finally! Then we did Sam's Club and Wal-Mart where I picked up gold and silver chargers (Brian had got me red last year), a bath pillow and back rest, shower liner and rings, colourful plastic glasses, blueberries, bananas, 1.5 lbs of sliced turkey breast, a 2-pack of herb & garlic cheese, canned crab, 5 pairs of wool gloves to donate to a special appeal at church this week, AND a new VCR for M to play endless hours of dressage tapes on.
Well, I was really stumbling about by the end and could barely pull myself up into the passenger seat. Ouch, ouch and ouch. Still, we did very well and Brian even picked up a few things for himself. It was amazing to see how the two parking lots were virtually deserted. Hey, do people not realize that it's December and they'll be sorry if they don't get their act together? Well, they'll find out soon enough.
Anyway, I'm going to write my amnesia fic for a bit. And, then, sleep blessed sleep.
Hugs to all,
an exhausted H.
