But, let's start at the beginning. From last night and early evening, two very weird dreams. Bizarre. Even though I told M the contents of both, I only remember the first one. Le sigh. Something about my having two cats that had died and the wall was covered in flying gnats (yuck) and John throwing the carpet out. The second was ever weirder.
Other than that, I had my usual boring, dizzy day. Only two days until I go to the hospital to get my eyes looked at. Oh, please use all of the latest electronic, computerized gizmos. Because this not seeing is driving me crazy. Not to mention that I have to get REALLLLLLLY close to the screen to make sure I didn't make a typo.
So, alumni?
First of all, I decided to watch Boston Legal tonight. The first time I'd ever watched it. The primary reason was to see James Spader because, of course, I remember his yumminess as Daniel and, before that, in White Palace. It's difficult to see him acting all grown up now and the entire legal conformity thing. Besides, I've never been a fan of law shows (watched a couple of specific eps of LA Law) because I'm not an advocate of the adversarial system. I also have strong thoughts on both a judge vs jury trial. But, anyway ... back to the show. So, we had the first Dr. Daniel Jackson with (duh) Captain James T. Kirk. The preview for next week shows that Scott Bakula will be the guest star. Hee - two captains of the Enterprise! Okay, any other SF actors who'd like to appear on the show? T'would be entertaining.
Anyway, that's about it for anything interesting from me today. I stillhave want to write an episode tag fic to Quarantine. There have obviously been some excellent ones, but I always like to find my own rationale for making characters do what I want them to do (even if it's pre-slash).
And, on a sad note, I learned that Heath Ledger of Brokeback Mountain has died. Why?????????????
So, I'll just say my goodnights and encourage everyone to live each day to its fullest.
Hugs,
H.
