The anatomy of a good day (no, not that kind of anatomy!)

With less than four hours of sleep under my belt, I woke up at 6, rather than starting a new chapter of a dream. But that was a very good thing, because it meant:
.....35 minutes in a hot shower and washing my hair;
.....Taking the towel off and combing my bangs without a mirror and getting them perfect;
.....Having the time to watch SGA, Outcast and then read reviews and episode tags.

.....I was picked up by one of my fave drivers to get me to church.
.....I made a new friend in social hall whom I probably won't recognize next week. Le sigh.
.....The soloist during the Offering has done a lot of professional work and he sang I Am What I Am from La Cage Aux Folles; he and the choir did a lovely harmonic rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow as the Anthem.
.....I had a voice! Yaaay.
.....I was on duty today which meant dancing back to my pew.
.....I was picked up a few minutes early and was home very quickly. Yaaay for that, too.

Other than that, I had a lazy day. Had a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon for lunch and haven't had any supper. Oh, well. And Brian finally e-mailed me back. He's back from his trip. And M and I talked about ... stuff.

So, I'm going to read for a bit and then I and my perfect bangs are going to go to bed.
