Hello?
Hello?
Oops. I must have exited at the wrong timeline.
Let's try it again.
Oh, good. ::sighs in relief:: I recognise things.
I had a lazy day until John and I left for the library shortly after 6. I didn't realise it was so nearby. The reason we were going was a meeting by our city councillor regarding the creation of a festival park just a couple of doors from us (slated for this fall) opening out onto the waterfront park that has almost been completed (he said the ribbon cutting would be in July). John and I are mostly ecstatic by some of the proposals. However, we didn't stay for the entire meeting, as there were peeps who were hogging question time. So John and I will send our queries by e-mail.
We took a different route back home. The trees and houses were amazing. We really do live in one of the most incredibly unique parts of the city. It's no wonder that, at the turn of the 1900s, people who lived in posh homes in TO had vacation homes where we now live. John and I also learned that the city's beaches have earned blue flags (globally acknowledged symbols of safety), so he can't wait to go swimming. Um, I'll pass, thanks.
Anyway, M and I talked before we left. I'm staying up all night because M and I are going on an adventure and it's not worth it for me to go to sleep for just a few hours. Well, we'll see how that goes as the night progresses. [Oops. I fail. I just yawned. Le sigh.]
Not nighty-night but temporary-halt hugs,
H.
