Well, what can I say? It's been a long day and my eye (yes, of course it's the Pirate Bob eye) is killing me and my face hurts. Hello, face! Nurse John was here just 2-1/2 hours ago. Are you telling me the eye drops aren't working? Okay, so what's the reverse of the placebo effect? Besides skepticism.
Anyway, church was only so-so, because of the way I was feeling. Yes, I was grumpy at church. Also the driver was delayed taking me home because of the Greek parade a few blocks away. And I was cold and miserable. But I still had to go grocery shopping. Yuck. Anyway, once that was done, I struggled to get home. Ah ... warmth.
No lunch really, just a nap. And John's visit. And I've been writing, because it's due ... uh ... tomorrow? No, prob. Besides, I truly believe a story is born when IT wants to be born. And I've been thinking of this one since I wrote its predecessor one year ago. So, it's had plenty of time to marinate in my mind's amniotic fluid!
I'm about to have some soup now. And then it's back to writing for a bit.
