Is there a doctor in the house (and not the Rodney kind, either)?

Well, my medical education is progressing. Things I never knew (and actually never wanted to know) about my eyes.

I had a really nice driver home as well and he was a few minutes early. As soon as I got in, I dropped my stuff, turned my walker around and went to the drugstore. I'd gotten a sample bottle of one eyedrop, but had to buy the second one. And then I actually did my grocery shopping. More flour and skim milk powder for baking; 'nanas; juice; milk (because I found yummy cereal in the cupboard); brie and smoked salmon to treat myself. And then I walked home on a day that wasn't too cold, though the streets were a little icy.

John left over 30 minutes ago. I graduated him from his nursing duties (but he had to stay nearly half an hour to read me the instructions). I told him that I would only be seeing him for social reasons from now on.

I've had a cherry hot drink and will be having the regular one for colds soon. And I hope I can actually sleep tonight. ::snuggles the wish piggies:: I'm also documenting hives on my left thumb and a feverish feeling. Oh, joy.

Anyway, really, I'm feeling more upbeat than I have in a long time, even though the road to recovery is not smooth. Optimistic hugs,
