(almost) better than sex?

I just wandered out of the bedroom to get my morning vitamins and heard the familiar and haunting (well, they should be) strains of Sirenes, the third movement of Claude Debussy's Trois Nocturnes.

And it is something I've performed on stage, as one of eight sopranos with an orchestral background. Hee - I have experience being a siren. It's a fact. ::sticks out an Edith-Ann tongue::

Anyway, hearing the languid, meandering melodies to signify the majesty and mystery of the ocean as expressed by the different instruments of the orchestra and remembering the soaring vocalises (no words, we only sang ahhhh) just made me feel so good. Well, it is almost like really good sex.

So, I'm becoming accustomed to having music playing 24 hours a day, but ONLY in another room.

And I just had to share this with everybody.
