Parts of today were ephemeral. Like church. The soprano soloist was a warbler, in the most musical sense of the word. She performed "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and it was breathtaking. I was on duty and felt so good doing it. Mind you, once again, my fave hymn was scheduled while I couldn't sing it so I'm pouting majorly. After I finished serving, Rev. Jo offered me communion and gave me two hosts accidentally. That's okay, 'cuz I needed the additional blessing. When I told my fave deacon of my current between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place woes, she said that, if she still had her 3-bedroom townhouse ... well, that's what a fantasy/dream is. But my friends were outrageous, as always (or even more so).
Parts of today were unexpected, like getting a cab both ways instead of the big bus. I guess too many people are cancelling their rides to church when it's this cold. I don't blame them. I also got a call from my sis, RS, early this morning. Unexpected and potentially sad.
Parts of today were bad. Coming home and falling under the burden of my worries with so little hope in sight. Hey ::yells up to my Uncle Billy angel:: I need help down here Right. Now. ::sighs:: I don't think angels exist in linear time.
And, finally, there were some faintly amusing parts. Watching a titch of TV, including a repeat of Castle and this week's Dollhouse which left me quite confused but was sorta, kinda, mostly emotionally satisfying (because I'm a sucker for one tiny ray of sunshine). I think I'll watch Project Runway next to get my fix of bitches 'n' stitches (did I just make that up?)! Hmmm, sounds like a cue for a Margarita, otherwise I'll never finish that stupid bottle in the fridge.
Anyway, stay warm wherever you are and, if you have a spare moment, send remembery vibes up to any unoccupied angels floating around on my behalf. ::channels my fave mountie:: Thank you, kindly.
