But, oh, the hot tomatoes with pesto = absolute yum.

So, I didn't go to sleep last night. I ended up staying awake and reading the Dr. Phil message board. I won't mention which epi, but it's enough to make me see green and red polka dots. So I submitted my own comment. And - hee - found that someone agreed with me 100%. I also completed my sidekick notes for the last two segments of Brian's cooking show. Glad that's done. I finally tried to sleep again around 7-ish and was successful. Oops! Not so fast. BD woke me up after 11. He may have some advice for my troubles. Oh, I certainly hope so.

I finally managed to wash my hair (and forgot my towels still hanging on the door). [sounds of dripping water] My mail was just a CNIB thingy about summer camp. Yeah, right, as if I can afford that. Le sigh. John gave me a call and related a cautionary horror story which I have taken to heart. Anyway, we're planning to go walkies on Friday for some more cheap food.

And, then, in the evening, I did something unorthodox, something I said I'd never, ever, EVER do. So what's so outrageous for moi? I created a Facebook profile. And the picture I uploaded is less than 4 years old (but obviously before the eye troubles of doom). Not that I'm really expecting anything from it, but I thought it was time to have something with my real name on it.

Dinner was a real salad (woo-hoo), using up nearly limp lettuce and red pepper strips with a salad dressing I made myself. Accompanied by a glass of white wine. Anyway, I'm going to turn on the TV tuner and watch ... something. And hope I can fall asleep like an almost normal person tonight!
