I guess I have to use my Boston Legal icon, then. And, yes, another show I miss.

As you may have surmised, I did watch another epi of N.C.I.S. before bed last night which left only 4 hours for sleep. Eek! And it was cold this morning, so winter coat and scarf were mandated.

When I got to church, Brent wasn't there which meant that Rev. Jobie was preaching. I love hearing about her life and how she manages to incorporate flying (and her experiences as a Marine) into her sermons. Today was no different, except there was also the roller-coaster analogy and not wanting to have a life that was flat-lining. Uncle Ernie was there with his husband (all shorn of his long hair; awwwww). And I was on duty and fairly bounced all over the place (which was incredible as I'd taken a mostly ineffectual pain killer before the service). But, then, that's nothing new, considering how good church makes me feel.

I was picked up early and got home so quickly I didn't even feel the need to eat my granola bar. ::goggles at the concept:: But, when I got in, I felt too stiff to even take the silly garbage out. I heated up some more turkey slices with cranberry sauce and that was lunch. Then John called, asking if I wanted to go walkies. Um, John, I can barely move. In fact, I Fell. Asleep. In. Front. Of. My. Computer! When I woke up, my right hand was cramping from having held the mouse. Wow! Now, that's tiiiiiiiiired.

Dinner was a bowl of peas. Yup, that's it, seasoned with salt, pepper and basil. And dessert was Brian's home-made brownies. I reminded John I have some saved for him, too.

I watched this week's underwhelming epi of SG:Ugh. Le sigh. These characters just don't make any sense to me. And, for a show that's supposed to be serial in nature, there's a whole lot of disconnectedness between epis. Well, to get rid of the nasty taste in my mouth, I just watched yet another S1 epi of N.C.I.S.. And I'm going to try to watch Project Runway, if I don't conk out first. I'm not looking forward to sleep, because that will mean waking up tomorrow and tackling far too many chores. Do I get any pity? ::listens to crickets:: Ack!
