And more glamorous, too.

So, what happened?

Well, I finally saw the building manager. There's a locker, but John will have to sweep it out. I brought up the need to have my bulbs changed in the bedroom. And, then, she disappeared. Didn't see her for the rest of the afternoon. Wha-????

But, she did introduce me to the woman from the church at the end of Mimico that's having a bazaar THIS (eek) Saturday. Unfortunately, they won't accept clothes, but are interested in any general topic books. So, I've got to select stuff she'll accept. She'll drop in on Thursday afternoon.

I spent the afternoon washing dishes. Oh joy NOT. And, then, I emptied the wardrobe out onto the bed. I had to move all sorts of other pieces of furniture to slide it out. But it won't fit through the bedroom door without John's help. While I was waiting for his arrival, I prepped a large dish of chicken thighs. I thought I'd bake them longer at a higher temp. Well, John and I finally got the wardrobe up to his place. We measured his bedroom and the balcony and then he invited me to sit for a spell. The setting sun was enchanting. And then I went back home to add bbq sauce to the chicken. I've just tossed all of the clothes off the bed onto the chair. Let's just say I'm afraid to exhale in case the vibes cause the pile to slide off. But, in good news, I saw a familiar bag on a hanger that usually signifies sexy undies. Well, it wasn't that, but it was my very curly blonde wig. So, yay, I can haz fresh hairpiece to wear.

I am not looking forward to tomorrow or any other day for that matter. I'm running out of time (3 weeks as of today) and I'm finding it disheartening to see how difficult it is to dispose of stuff. I've had to find another charity for the clothing and, according to their site, they'll accept books and videos as well. Ack. I'm tired. Maybe I'll watch Castle, maybe not. But sleep is definitely on the books. Nighty-night, all.
