Work, work, work; also nostalgia tv and ... piggy cuddles!

Well, you should know by now that, no matter how tough the day, piggy cuddles'll make everything a lot better.

So, in the continuing saga (oy) of my move, John and I transported my tallboy chest up to his place. And then I took out lots and lots of garbage. Later in the afternoon, we remeasured the bedroom and - ack - we forgot to take into account the heating element that sticks out 3" from the wall. That's thrown the entire plan into chaos, so I'm having to reverse walls (okay, furniture placement). But (once again proving that the builders of this place were on drugs), the closet is 6-8" longer than my current one. WTF?????

At least I managed to entertain myself by watching my fave 2-part epi from classic Battlestar Galactica, War of the Gods to be precise. Well, the overblown acting has not stood the test of time, but I loved the long party dresses (of which I have my own fond memories).

On the food front, I enjoyed orange and red tomato slices with cheddar on egg bread for lunch and I've demolished yet another portion of frozen okra (only 6 left?) heated with minestrone soup for dinner. And, now, I must take all the candles, etc. off the bed so that I can - well, you know - perhaps go to sleep. I know I'll be knee deep in boxes tomorrow. Oh, such joy NOT. And, for a diversion, I'll bring my white patio chairs onto John's balcony. And most of my pots and pans. Yes, joy-joy-joy (and my mental delusions) all around!
