After turning on the two torchieres in the bedroom and installing my pretend pillar candle lamp on the window ledge, I happily got into bed so that I could read my classic Galactica book and promptly fell asleep, not waking up until after 3 a.m. Wow! And my orb of enlightenment had been whirring away in the background all this time as well.
Feeling a bit full of sleep, I got back onto ell-jay and commented here and there. And then slid back into bed. Whereupon, I once again fell asleep and didn't wake up until nearly 10 a.m. This is amazing. OTOH, my body could have been protesting all of the tedium of sorting sundry items from my move. And sundry and divers (archaic sp.) they are.
I enjoyed my cereal, milk and 'nanas for brekkie and then settled down to do more unpacking and sorting and tossing. Ugh. Something had been stored upside down and made a mess in one of the bags. OTOH, I managed to sort all of my electronics into baggies. But ... but ... ::sputters:: even though I located my second sound machine, I couldn't find the transformer that was supposed to go with it. Wah. I want the sound of waves to mask the incessant screaming of kids outside. ::ponders:: I know there's yet another transformer still in its wee white carton. I just can't remember WHERE I last saw it. Le sigh.
It's no wonder what with all the unpacking and sorting that I didn't get to have lunch until 4:45. I made couscous with wild forest mushrooms. It was quite good, considering that it was instant. The rest of the day continued with more sorting ... and I'm running out of room on the top of the desk surrounding the 'puter. Help! I also did a bit of blogging for the food show. Dinner was the rest of the couscous and a bowl of cherries. Ah ... cherries.
Well, I think I deserve another good night's sleep. After a titch of reading, perhaps. Nighty-night, all.
