It's a good thing I don't have a cholesterol problem. Because I had a LOT of eggs today, quite inadvertently. After waking up around 7, I moped around on the 'puter until 10:30 when I caught another two hours of sleep.

Then I had lunch for breakfast. Two sliced medium hard-boiled eggs, some of John's spring salad mix, halved stuffed queen olives, a couple of sliced pickling cukes, a really ripe chopped avocado and Italian dressing mist. I ate a huge bowl of everything smushed together out on the balcony.

Then I lazed for a couple of hours until it was time to start getting ready for teh show. So a lovely shower and putting on my long black rayon dress, sparkly shawl and scarf that matched the dress. And, for a change, discreet (1928 Company) citrine earrings. Also, a fabulous makeup (with a dry face courtesy of my Dior powder foundation).

Alas, Brian was delayed because of a meeting at work, so didn't arrive until nearly 6:30. I was already downstairs. He surprised me with the recipe: it was breakfast for dinner. What. A. Surprise. Um ... not. The dish was scrambled eggs with crisp asparagus, creamy goat cheese and luxurious smoked salmon folded in, served with toasted 11-grain bread (not 7 or 12, but 11). We enjoyed our dinner out on the balcony and then it was already time for me to come home. Awwwww.

When I got home, I went nuts trying to find out info on mobile plans because I need new features (and probably a new phone, too). Ack. Too many acronyms that I don't understand. ::calls out plaintively:: Oh, Brian, I need my seeing-eye brother. Hmmm. I think he's going to ignore me. Oh, noes. Being forced to be independent is just NO fun. So, with that, I'm going to pout and say goodnight! Okay, back to reading.
