Well, it's only spitting/drizzling now, but we had rain TWICE today, a wee bit in the afternoon and then a lovely downpour. Please to be continuing overnight.
I had a lovely, lazy day. As I'd OD'd on carbs last night, I didn't even bother with breakfast until really late. Yes, cereal, milk and cut-up nectarines (which I still think is really silly, because I'm throwing in a juicy fruit). I continued with the fruity theme by having the leftovers from Thursday's cooking show. And, even cold, the grilled peaches were so tender and the adulterated yogurt and walnuts most refreshing.
Brian e-mailed me that he hadn't had a chance to do notes, so there won't be a blog post this week. Aww. But at least we did warn our viewers in advance. And I finally got a call from JL. He was on his way back into town and said he'd be by around 4 to pick up all of my donations. What a relief. I had quite a time trying to stuff all my Lego pieces into two big baggies, then placing them in the wells of the formed plastic insert and taping the box shut. Only after I'd finished I found One. Wee. Piece (a window shutter) lying on the bed. Oh, well. I guess the set can't be complete now. Yes, I know. It's silly to think that'll make a huge difference.
I struggled to get all of the bags downstairs. And yet JL thought I would have had TONS more. He's so funny. After he left, I sent him an e-mail with links to some of my naughty fics that I thought he'd enjoy. Well, I'm sure he'll tell me at church tomorrow.
More eating in the late afternoon and evening, such as bagels, cheese, tomato slices as well as medium hard-boiled eggs and finishing off the herring in wine. And a fake beer. I spent most of the day reading, so will be very happy to rest my tired bones in bed - starting very, very soon. Ciao, tutti!
