Fortunately, I do have such a talent.

Which I demonstrated by staying up late, then waking up far, far too early, so I rambled about ell-jay, giving some advice to someone on one of my comms (after unearthing the particular medication from my meds chest in the bathroom). Then I went back to bed, setting the alarm for 11. I must have dozed off, as I didn't get out of bed until 11:31.

Brekkie today was Chicken a la King. It was yummy, accompanied by mashed 'taters and broccoli. However, it was even better when I smushed the 'taters with the chicken and sauce. Considering that I slept in, I didn't bother with lunch. And I finally dragged myself off into the shower. As tonight's show was Mexican Hot Dogs (Olé), I added my red satin scarf tied in a big bow around my neck. I also experimented with my eyes, using concealer instead of eyeshadow to frame my eyeliner. Result: not as harsh as using white eyeshadow.

Brian picked me up around 5:10 (yay for leaving work on time). When we got to his place, we made sure all the ingredients were out on the counter and then we played around with his new camera. He mounted it so that we could have Picture-In-Picture moments focused solely on his hands as they chopped or stirred or whatever, without taking me out of the scene (because that would be a travesty AND a tragedy, right?).

And then we filmed. The hot doggies were very simple to make, grilling them with scallions, toasting buns, filling them with salsa, guacamole, Brian's home-made pickled jalapeno slices. Definite yum, so we had two each.

Then we watched a few episodes of our show (especially ones that have not yet been released). But, OMG, our faves are the outdoor ones where I got kidnapped by aliens ... AGAIN! There is so much joy and fun between us that I'm overwhelmed that it's been captured on camera (and shown to the world ... aka his relatives!). Anyway, it was getting late and I had him escort me down to the lobby. My cab arrived around 8:10 and I was home and all cozy in my environs. I sent G a belated birthday greeting (but at least I did remember it within the month) and mentioned stuff going on in my life. And, now, I get to crash. Well, as soon as I press POST. Nighty-night, all.
