So, I tried the bed at 1 trick and got up again at 1:50, no sleep in sight. I puddled around on Liblikas until around 3, then finally fell asleep. I woke up at 8:30 (a bit before the alarm) but, WOO-HOO, 5.5 hours of sleep. Except for the fact that making it from bed to the bathroom was so grotesquely, excruciatingly painful I thought I was headed for the ER. WTF??? Apparently, I'd wrenched my back (probably excacerbated by doing all those loads of evil laundry yesterday). So I went back to sleep and hoped I'd feel better around 10. And I did, though I wasn't about to risk injury by moving stuff around. Finally had brekkie rather late (11-ish) of salmon on rice with dill sauce, broccoli and carrots. And, then, I ended up back in bed, sleeping a bit more.

And that's basically how my day went. Most of it was spent in bed, bitching silently that I couldn't read in bed and the only place I could was on the computer screen (which meant hurting my back). Can you say a no-win situation?

I finally opened up the container of Brian's leftover stew (that was more like chili). Um ... HOT-HOT-HOT. And that was just straight from the fridge. Well, if I had any germs in my throat, I think they just got burned away. And, speaking of the man, he e-mailed me after doing some filming of the Christmas displays at the Eaton Centre and the Bay (though no skaters out yet). Well, you can imagine me pressing my virtual nose at the virtual window, pouting, because I wasn't there!

I managed to cool off my burning tongue with some yogurt, iced tea and chocolate. And a couple of apples. I didn't know what to do with myself, so I ended up watching the Family Guy Empire Strikes Back show. And, then, went to bed ... again! Luckily, I did manage to get up to see that my sis, RS, whom I was supposed to call yesterday because of something I'm worried about, had sent me an e-mail, saying she was home and I could call her any time. So I did (even with major coughing fits) and I'm so glad I did, especially as she won't be at church tomorrow. I told her she should watch Glee, so we'll have something in common.

Anyway, I should get ready for bed and I think I need more painkillers (took a couple a few hours ago). And I hope the piggies are just are sleep-inducing as they were last night. Until tomorrow, it's a wrap!
