Betcha didn't know an eye could speak. Well, mine is ... or at least it's been screaming at me for hours. So I'm going to obey it, close both of them and go to bed. Which will be its own testing ground.
First things first. Do not faint. But I turned the lights out at 11:58 p.m. last night. BEFORE midnight! And I actually fell asleep without painkillers and only woke up at 5:45 because I couldn't breathe. Due to that, I got up and puttered around on the 'puter, doing mostly nothing. Today's brekkie was nearly a repeat of yesterday's (except that today I had roast pork, stuffing and gravy i/o turkey, as well as carrots and peas and smashed 'taters). Well, I think I'll stick with the turkey, as it's more tender.
The only practical thing I did all day was - after drilling off the screws - standing my full-length mirror against the wall resting on my bath bench. Oh, good. I can now see if my outfits are okay. And also see my hair and makeup.
I caught a naplet (not quite a nap, as I hadn't even set the alarm) in the early afternoon. Then I had a cheese omelette for lunch. And washed a whole pile of dishes.
The freaky thing is that is was 57 degrees (the high) and it's still 54, with my window wide open. In comparison, it snowed in Seattle today and they had to close the schools down. Whoa! Continental reversal here. It also snowed in Vancouver late last week. Anyway, after having yogurt, a 'nana and a slew of apples for dinner, I'm surrendering to the pain and going to bed. Without pain killers again, if that helps me fall asleep (just don't ask me how I do it while still in pain). I hope I can get some decorating/cleaning done tomorrow. Until then, nighty-night.
