Why, of course, I overdid things today. It's a good thing I had a cheer-inducing brekkie (the sweet curry chicken). And then I settled in for a very long haul of writing so I could finish my McShep fic which (not coincidentally) was due today. It's a good thing I had many hours ahead of me.

I love analyzing myself and found it hilarious that I only came up with one of the most important concepts of the fic TODAY. If I'd already finished writing it, I doubt very much my mind would have wandered in the direction it did. No, this is not an ad for procrastination; but sometimes one needs to allow the mind enough room (uh ... time?) to wander. Hoo-boy, does mine ever!

I managed to watch this week's N.C.I.S. though it was difficult following along because at this point my eyes were crap. Multiplied by pain from sitting. Ack! So ... nap??? Yes, nap.

Now I'm going to have an apple or two and read what other people have written - for a change. In other non-news, it was still cool-damp and I didn't have my regular ray of sunshine deliver my meals. I hope she'll be back next week, as she's always singing when she exits the elevator. I'd say she does the clients a world of good.

Okay, it's crunching time. Nighty-night, all.
