But, first of all, exciting news! I slept in ... all the way to 6:15. ::rolls eyes::

I knew I had to be creative with my food choices today, as I'd eaten this morning's entrée for supper last night. My delivery was really late, too, so I just sat at the dining table waiting to buzz my perky volunteer in. For lunch, I decided to finally try the frozen lake smelt I'd bought. I didn't know what to expect (the bag was opaque), as it's been decades since I've eaten smelt. So I poured out a layer of the small fish onto a plate, covered them with the leftover chunky salsa, added onion and rosemary ('cuz I couldn't locate the oregano in my blind state), then cooked them in the microwave. Note to self: you really needed oregano. But it was fun eating them, wee bones and all.

I watched last night's Glee. I'd already been spoilered from an article and was prepared to be angry and hurt (as were many fans) but was pleasantly surprised to see that these unanticipated consequences will lead to a much more complicated show next year. Though ::snorfles:: is it even possible to ... uh ... achieve a zero-point-zero GPA???

I was really upset in the evening after I awoke from my nap. I'd scurried about doing washing up this morning as the water was supposed to be turned off. I'd just finished wiping down the microwave at 9:00 a.m. So, in the evening, John told me they'd cancelled it for today and rescheduled it for Friday. Arrgghh. I could have done some laundry today (as I'd hoped to). And, speaking of aggravation, why are there people (possibly just one) setting off leftover fireworks outside? Dodos, the holiday was TWO days ago.

Anyway, I think I'd better pour my twin-headachy bod back into bed. Sleep piggies activate!
