Why am I so aggravated? Well, after going to bed at 1 a.m., I was awakened at 2:00 a.m. by the fire alarm which just happens to be outside the bedroom door. After a few ENDLESS minutes of torture, it stopped. Okay, trying to get back to sleep. Achieve sleep.
Would anyone care to guess what happened next? Oh, come on: it's SIMPLE. Yes, indeed, the fire alarm went off AGAIN ::grrrrrrrrowls:: at 4:00 a.m. More waiting while hoping my rapid pulse would subside. As it did. And then I hoped against hope that I might sleep again. I did, but was I ever grumpy when the alarm rang at 6:00 a.m.!
So I hope you'll forgive me for not feeling talkative right now ... especially as I just woke up from an unscheduled nap, probably fueled by the last of the eggnog. [Tragedy, eh?] I will be back tomorrow and am crossing my fingers that there won't be any equally rude interruptions tonight.
