Not to mention that I resented putting on wee fishnet anklets to wear with my sandals, just in case the rain was heavy. Still, my bus was early and, after picking up the same group as two weeks ago, stopped to pick up a friend also on the way to church, so it was good to chat.

It was Emergency Services Appreciation Sunday, so we had a Police Piper start off the service, with at least three pews of people we were honouring. One of them was the first lesbian police chief of a small town in south-west Ontario. Wow! Brent preached about The Flood and I got an easy communion blessing out of it. I served two police people.

After church I didn't have long to wait for my cab - a good thing as it was disgusting outside. It might not have been raining, but it certainly didn't get to the forecast high of 74F. I was just relieved to get home. I was anxious all afternoon and semi-dozed, but there was no e-mail or text message. ::sighs:: OTOH, there was a FB message from an old friend now living in Vancouver who is/was my M-I-L. He thought I looked terrific on the webcast. Methinks he's paying far too much attention to me or what I'm wearing. But he cheered me up immensely.

In the evening I watched several more S2 epis of Little Britain. And now I don't know what to do with myself. If I can't find anything, I might as well write. At least I think I've found something that should fit the character.
