After yesterday's disappointment, it's no wonder. Well, I was up after 7, though found out that we weren't going to have a unit inspection. So I lost the urge to do any tidying up. I watched last night's Castle in the morning. Uh-oh. It's the Kate-Rick roller coaster ride.

Although I kept putting off doing the laundry ::slaps own wrist:: there was no way I could ignore the gorgeous sunshine and semi-warmth outside. So, after I finally washed my hair, I went out in my black nightie (topped by my ankle length suede jumper and my capelet) over to the dry cleaner next door. Oh, my red coat looks fabulous ... and both the hole and rip were fixed. The lady was so cute, wondering why someone as young as I (!?!) would need a walker. Then I told her about the degenerative nature of my arthritis AND exactly how old I am. Well, she'd thought I was only in my 40s or 50s. Bless her! [And I'm grinning as I remember.]

Then it was back home with me. Though I really should have done more chores, I begged off because of my aching back; and my right knee hurt when I was sitting and my left when I was walking. Gee, how ... thorough. I didn't get any responses to yesterday's e-mails, well not from strangers, but the co-lead of my vision loss group phoned and e-mailed me. I'd sent her a couple more outrageous options, but one of them was a no go as I'd been misinformed. So, it's back to crossed fingers and toes. I rewatched the Castle epi in the evening because it was something to do. And, now, I'd better recharge my phone and go to sleep.
