Well, perhaps there was one teensy, tiny thing that made it slightly less than perfect. Cue rumbly tumbly. Yes, it was all over the place, keeping me in an anxious state, as I really, REALLY wanted to enjoy the Japanese delicacies without having to defer to a ::coughs discreetly:: delicate constitution. So not lol.

I woke up before 7 (even though the alarm was set for 8). That's okay, I managed to waste use the time, even productively. But, then, I was scrambling to get dressed and put on my makeup (which I zoomed through in 4 minutes!). I wore my gold/black pullover, golden flower earrings, mettalic gold/black festive socks(!) and - I kid you not - SHOES!!! My black Mary-Janes. I was just so happy to be able to look like a normal person, rather than an abominable snowwoman. To make the day even more perfect, it was brilliantly sunny for most of the day. Wow! No winds or the S word or even the R word.

However, Brian was realllllllllllly late. But that was okay, as we still had hours. We went grocery and necessity (hair colour so IS a necessity) shopping. Then we had to scramble to get into the checkout line. I asked him to pick out his fave colour from the selection of tulips and he chose purple. So he got a bunch of tulips. And then we were off to the restaurant. Just one wee problem. I'd gotten the address wrong, only by 1000 numbers, lol. So I had to call to get directions. But we finally got there. And had an amazing time. More on that in my next post, whenever that happens.
