Monday is great for new beginnings.

It doesn't get more beginning-ary than becoming FB friends with the new Senior Pastor-Elect, does it. Hee! I noticed that he was becoming popular and thought I'd better slide right in there before he's inundated with hundreds of requests. He approved me immediately. And then I commented on his post, saying how proud and excited I am that he's coming and that I can't wait to hear him preach. Yay!

Church-John has agreed to the mini shopping trip and a meal tomorrow. I juggled the timing of the meal, moving it up to lunch, as SuM and I are supposed to have a movie night (and light dinner). More good stuff to look forward to.

I finally finished the "Figaro" book by Ellis Peters (the first I'd ever read from her). It was odd, but I'd enjoyed it. Tonight's Jeopardy! was a fiasco. Players exhibiting nerves, majorly forgetting to phrase the answer in the form of a question, and missing clues that were SOOOOO easy ... that both c-J and I'd been infuriated. Oh, I know we'll get over it, or find something else aggravating.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Lots to do tomorrow including waking up early to book rides. Story of my life, it seems.
