How cold was I? Cold enough to pull on my black velour top, raid the freezer for an M&M French onion soup, and gobble the soup along with hunks of a warm bagel. Okay, now I feel a little better. As has been happening lately, I woke up after 9 (with only one small bump after 7). Took it easy today as obviously my system was having problems adjusting from yesterday's see-saw weather conditions.
Instead of hitting "Rogue One", I decided to go with "Angel of the Opera", the Holmes book. What a surprise to see that the author has done a mashup, pairing it with the "Phantom of the Opera". Along with Christine, etc. I have NO idea where this is going to end up, but I'm learning about the amazing things that could be done with gas lamps, even though dangerous and uncomfortable, also the meaning/origins of "limelight".
Managed to squeeze in last night's MasterChef. Ha! I always wonder whether the people being honoured via two teams competing ever come down with food poisoning. Otherwise, I watched my usual evening fare, aka the news and game shows. And, then, the soothing background sounds of cartoons. Oh, wait. The delightful "Magic Flute" music was on Peg + Cat. Now I must catch up with what my friends have been posting. TTFN.
