It's going to be cool(er) tomorrow and the forecast shows RAIN Every. Single. Day. this week. And I am jumping for joy! Mind you, some of those days will have thunderstorms which aren't the most pleasant or danger-free (especially with many ancient trees in the city).
A noise woke me up at 6:44. Ugh. I managed to lounge in bed until 8:10. Spent a lot of time just lying in bed, vegging. Read a bit. My sight (and Wi-fi) were better, but the left side of my face hurts (sinuses), so reading was spotty. Watched the usual TV (news and game show repeats) in the evening. There was a new policing initiative that just started last night, with actual patrols in neighbourhoods targeted by violence between 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. Uh … brainiacs, why weren't you doing that DECADES ago??? Sigh. At least the province is paying for the overtime (I know, I'll believe it when I see "Paid in Full" on the books).
